The thirty-minute thickening guidance should be treated as a planning estimate. A larger batch or warmer room can shorten it. The manufacturer calls for prompt application after mixing; the laboratory gel-time figure is not permission to leave a gallon sitting in the bucket. Its twenty-four-hour full-cure claim is also conditional on thickness and temperature.
Plan the measuring and mixing stage
Hand 3–5 min until incorporated; two containers recommended; pour promptly.
